1.Important points

Asocial in the eye’s of the Nazis were:
  • Homosexuals
  • disabled person

What happened to them:
  • 15 000 homosexual men were sent to camps and were to wear pink triangle badges
  • People with disabilities were separated from their families so they could be helped in special hospitals
  • They were labeled as “unfit” and not beneficial for the pure German race
  • Often they were put into concentration camps as well and never returned to their families

2.How affected maintenance of power

During his rise, Hilter often mentioned that the German/Arian race has to stay pure and should not be mixed with other types. By putting minorities into concentration camps or killing them, he again followed what he said to gain support from the German people. Families that were affected by this were often told that the person was in a special hospital and that they died because of a disease. By keeping the general public ignorant of the reasons for the "hospitalization" he was able to maintain the support of the people.
