Communist Youth Associations:
A Youth movement between the ages of fourteen and twenty-eight by the CCP
Founded in May 1920 (originally named as the Socialist Youth League of China)
During the Cultural Revolution the organization was blocked
Estimates of 73 million members (2007)
Contributed to the top echelon leaders of the communist party such as Hu Yaobang and Hu Jintao
