Definition:
A conference in Geneva in 1927 by the United States, Japan and the United Kingdom. It is also referred to as the Geneva Naval Conference. It was meant to restrict naval arms more because the Washington Naval Treaty only applied to the construction of ships and aircraft carries but did not limit cruisers or submarines.
Significance/Results:
The conference was not a success because the three countries were not able to come to an agreement over the issue. However the issue was addressed again in the London Naval Conference in 1930.
