Examples:
  • Realpolitik was important in helping major leaders make decisions. Hitler used realpolitik for example, in 1938, when he was aiming to conquer the Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia, in which most of the civilians there were German.
  • The Big Four also used realpolitik after the war in order to start peace making. For instance, the Treaty of Versailles in splitting the land.
